Compliance Athenaeum’s traditional compliance courses provide a foundation for Compliance education.  These content-based courses offer adaptive branching, which engages learners, allows them to make choices from a list of options, and provides feedback on their choice.  Each course module has an estimated seat time of 30 minutes or less.

The Compliance Athenaeum Annual Compliance Education is a comprehensive, two-part course that informs the learner about the importance of Compliance, the impact of HIPAA on day-to-day healthcare operations, and the individual's responsibility to identify and report potential violations.

Fraud, Waste and Abuse* addresses the importance of a Compliance Program, promotes understanding of and ability to identify fraud, waste and abuse, and explains an employee's role in preventing and detecting potential compliance violations.

HIPAA Privacy and Security* highlights basic HIPAA protections and obligations, explains how HIPAA affects the performance of an employee's daily tasks, and promotes the identification and reporting of potential HIPAA violations.

Reporting Your Concerns educates employees on their role in Compliance effectiveness, the importance of reporting compliance or HIPAA concerns, the mechanisms for reporting, and how to identify potential violations.  The course encourages learners to report their concerns, discusses protections for those reporting, and provides examples of activities to be reported.

Business Relationship educates employees on the regulations and your policy as it relates to gift and gratuities accepted from or offered to patients, employees, and referral sources.  This course is customizable.

Basics for Non-Study Personnel is intended for those in healthcare that would like an introduction to research.  This course covers basic research principles, regulatory protections, informed consent, research billing, and more.

Implicit-Biased Training promotes awareness of implicit bias among the entire health care team and provides resources for instructing health care professionals on how to reduce its negative effects on patients.
